Nicole Kidman arrived at this year’s Spirit Awards with a “Beach Romantic” look by celebrity hairstylist David Babaii. Starting on towel dried hair, Babaii applied Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment before thoroughly drying it with a dryer. Next, he divided the hair into four parts—top, sides and back—leaving the nape area free. Beginning at the nape, Babaii took small sections one at a time, combed it and wrapped the bottom half of the section around one to three fingers to create a large pin-curl type curl. Then, using IT&LY HAIRFASHION Digital Styling Iron, he carefully clamped down the curls and held the position for 10 to 15 seconds. Babaii clipped each finished curl before proceeding to the next section and took them out only after he had completed the entire head. To finish, he let the curls fall naturally into place and added Pequi Oil with his hands to achieve smooth, shiny waves. —Clarissa Nebuya
