To complement the elegance of the collection and the evening, Elle Gerstein for Essie added Golden Nugget to nails for a touch of shimmer in addition to Brooch the Subject, the polish used at the DKNY spring show this year. “It’s a little bit dressier and a different combination,” Gerstein said. Nails were filed to naturally mirror the cuticle.

For makeup, artists for Make Up For Ever created a clean face with subtle shading, no blush and clear lip gloss on eyelids to enhance dewy skin. A bitten-lip look was given by applying color on the inside with no gloss.

Lead hairstylist Rodney Cutler fashioned a soft natural wave for hair, using a 1 1/4-inch curling iron on the whole head and then straightening the ends to tug out any strong definition. Hair was parted down the middle to add more drama in the silhouette. With the help of Fashion Work 12 and a touch of Forceful 23 finishing spray, girls’ hair was made to appear “as if they had stepped out of Williamsburg,” Cutler said. “It’s not supposed to look too glamorous, so there’s a fine line between curling and pulling the ends straight. It’s supposed to look a little uptown and a little downtown.” —Kristen Heinzinger

I am looking for more subtle and less resplendent color codes for my silhouette. Even rose petal color effect is good, i m also keen to watch fashion week trends of haute courture. Thanks for ending up in style.
