Manhattan’s new Mizu Salon joined with Saks Fifth Avenue other top NYC salons for a fall fashion shoot yesterday. The images and video from the shoot, which took place at the Chelsea Hotel, will be distributed across the country for print, digital and broadcast media use.
I was lucky enough to join the folks at Mizu Salon, which opened eight months ago and has already garnered a loyal clientele of celebrities and fashionistas, including new creative color director Dimitrios Tsioumas, stylist Stephanie Larosiliere and co-owners Damian Santiago and Vaughn Acord, as they prepped the models for the shoot. “The look was sexy glam hair that’s clean and wearable,” said Tsioumas, a Goldwell educator and owner of Hi-Lites Hair Salon in Fulton, Maryland. “I gave the models saturated color that’s solid but has lot of depth.”
Take a look at some of the behind-the-scenes footage:

Im looking on becoming a Goldwell educator as well as working in the city. Ur salon is one of the few Goldwell salons in Manhattan, I enjoyed reading your enthusiasm on colour. I didnt know if you were looking for colorists in your salon? But I would be happy to send a resume or meet with you. Ive worked with Goldwell these last two years an I can honestly say this is my favorite colour and product line ever. Hoping to hear from you and further my education with this colour line, as well as my career as a clolorist.
Thank you: Alexandra
