Precious Oil Versatile Caring Oil from Pureology
This 100 percent oil is the beauty industry’s first Green Seal certified product, which means it is 100 percent biodegradable, silicone- and paraben-free, and minimally impacts the environment. Precious Oil renews each strand of the hair fiber for all types of color-treated hair and is versatile in its use. Overall it is designed to restore softness, elasticity, shine and moisture. It consists of a blend of sunflower seed, coconut, olive and jojoba oils. Available for purchase in May 2012.
Stress-Fix from Aveda
Aveda's Stress-Fix line includes a body lotion, soaking salts and a concentrate, designed to relieve pressure for clients as well as for the Earth. The eco-certified line is made from at least 95 percent natural origins and 95 percent certified organic plant materials, and 10 percent of the total ingredients are also certified organic. The products were also manufactured in an eco-certified facility. The new body care line is infused with an aroma clinically proven to relieve stress.
Loofah Massage Soaps from Wembé
These luxurious loofahs from Wembé are free of silicone, petroleum, parabens, sulfates, phenoxythanol, polyethylene glycol, synthetic fragrances and dyes. All of Wembé’s products are vegan and gluten free, and their soaps are made from organic, locally grown plants in Paraguay. The loofahs come in an energizing and soothing almond massage bar or an acai oil blend for energy and balance. Sourced from a plant that looks like a zucchini, and blended with the purest oils, these bars exfoliate skin and the senses to improve blood circulation, remove dead skin cells and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Turkish Sorbet Kit from Priti NYC
The Turkish Sorbet collection featuring Horned Poppy, Red Maple, Lungwort and Dayflower, surfaces right in time for spring and summer fever. Priti NYC's polish bottles are glass so they can be recycled through Chemwise via their website, and the company offers a 15 percent discount on future orders when bottles are recycled through the site. Each of Priti NYC's kits are packaged in a paper purse made of brown Kraft which is 100 percent recycled paper. The nail polish ingredients are free of toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate and camphor.
