Eufora’s Annual Global Connection Event entertained over 700 stylists, salon owners, educators and distributors from October 23rd to 24th at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, CA. Eufora founders Don and Beth Bewley encouraged attendees to “Think Different,” a motto their brand lives by.
The event kicked-off with a runway show with apparel and hair inspired by the elements: air, water, earth and fire. Stylists had the opportunity to take a variety of technical and business classes as two-day learning events, such as Trends in Razor Cuts, Trends in Long Cuts, Timeless & Heroic Men’s Cutting, Short and Shorter Hair, and High Fashion Long Hairdressing. Eufora distributor, Terri Cowan of Professional Salon Concepts, spoke on the do’s and dont’s of winning over the competition.
One of the most exciting moments was Don’s surprise announcement that several Eufora educators were promoted to the Global Education Team. Other highlights included honoring salons that contributed the highest donations to Eufora’s charity of choice, Childhelp, the announcement of Eufora’s Stylist of the Year Awards, a James Bond themed casino party, and the launch of Eufora’s latest products: Touch Up Texturizing Dry Shampoo collection, Details Spray Wax, and Hero for Men Pliable Pomade and Firm Hold Gel. —Kristen Heinzinger
