In the search to stand out on the New Jersey Coast I found an amazing massage that no other spa offers here. I was able to find a women who created the Real SeaShell Massage..when she trained my staff it was so exciting and very well excepted. This massage uses “real” seashells that are warmed above body tempt and dipped in oil..it is an amazing feeling leaving you with a very uplifting energy!

I have a very private salon in a cottage behind my home. Yes I’m legal and professional. About 8 years ago I found myself confronted with my child’s hair loss. She has Alopeica Areata. Carli loses up to 70% of her hair. For a long time she hid under baseball caps and hoodies. People would constantly mistake her for a boy. Finally by 8th grade she was open to visit a Hair Replacement studio.
It was very hard to find someone to trust and that would be able to convince her that hair replacement could be a great solution for her. She was afraid of what people would say and if they could pull it off.
After that day Carli has been wearing hair replacements. I have been going back to school and learning as much as I can about replacement. My business is strictly word of mouth. I have some clients that are preparing for chemo and I have to shave there heads or I guide them through the process and order there new hair and get in ready for them. I have other alopeica children and a few different situations. The client knows that I have been through this first hand and trust me. My daughter who is now 18 will pop out every now and again and ask a long time client if she trust me cutting their hair then she will pull off her hat (when shes not wearing her piece) and say look what she did to me. lol

I use Redken and Pureology in the salon and retail as well. Pureology is great for hair pieces. I find coloring the piece for dimension also helps give it a natural look. I have added new services that are unique and that are hard to find. Its funny were life leads us. A hair dresser with a bald kid. Go figure.
