			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a holiday pick-me-up for victims of Hurricane Sandy, <a href="http://www.emiliani.com/" target="_blank">Emiliani Enterprises</a> and <a href="http://www.mcvsd.org/" target="_blank">Monmouth County Vocational School</a> are hosting Haircuts for Exit 117 on Monday, December 10. The event invites residents of The Highllands, Keyport, Union Beach and Keansburg, NJ, to receive free haircuts by a team of stylists from throughout the state, with shampoos and blowouts by cosmetology students from Monmouth’s Keyport campus. Emiliani Enterprises is donating all of the shampoos and styling products needed for the charity event.</p>
<p>Haircuts for Exit 117 is being held at Monmouth County Vocational School’s salon facility at 280 Atlantic Street in Keyport from 3-7 p.m. Residents must provide proof of residency at any of the above-listed cities to qualify for their haircut, which are being offered on a first come, first serve basis. <p>“This storm hit home for us, literally,” said Founder and Owner Carmen DePasquale of the Fairlawn, NJ, company.</p>
<p>DePasquale Companies has delivered three trucks of products from their brands—including <a href="http://www.beautyaddicts.com/" target="_blank">Beauty Addicts</a>, <a href="http://www.curesbyavance.com/" target="_blank">Cures by Avancé</a>, <a href="http://www.ecrunewyork.com/" target="_blank">ECRU New York</a>, <a href="http://www.littlegreencares.com/" target="_blank">Little Green</a> and <a href="http://www.newyork-streets.com/" target="_blank">New York Streets</a>—to three different locations to aid in relief efforts. Those locations are Christie &amp; Co. Salon in the Queens borough of New York; Stephen Siller Tunnels to Tower Foundation in Staten Island, NY; and The People’s Pantry in Toms River, NJ.</p>
<p>“We are in the business of making people look and feel better,” said DePasquale. “We can give victims some necessities needed to get them feeling just a bit more like their old selves.”</p>
